OCTOBER/NOVEMBER NEWS

Hi Folks,

I has some BIG events coming up SOON!

* Firstly, I will be doing the MEMBERS' MELODIES show at TWIN TOWNS RSL Tweed Heads on THURSDAY MORNING October 7th with the duo BRADE as support and Rustling Russell on piano.

* The GOLDEN SADDLES will be held at ROOTY HILL RSL on Sat 7th October and I'll will be there to judge the junior section in the afternoon.

* FOLK IN THE FOOTHILLS is on again - on Sunday 17th October in the beautiful JAMBEROO VALLEY. It's a mini folk festival all in one day.  The Illawarra Folk Club have all the details www.illawarrafolkclub.org.au

* On 21st and 22nd of October I return to INVERELL to launch my new book and perform and judge at the Rotary Club Talent Search - along with old friend and folksinging legend Alex Hood and Inverell's own Melanie Dyer.

* On Wednesday evening 27th October Jim is at the Central Coast Bush Poetry Club in GOSFORD.

The BIG NEWS is that my latest book 'BEST AUSTRALIAN RACING STORIES' has hit the bookshelves this week! There is a separate news item posted on the book. You can buy on line now.
